MGMA-Louisiana membership is probably the single most useful resource available to individuals involved in healthcare. MEMBERSHIP CATEGORIES

Note: All MGMA Louisiana memberships are individual, rather than corporate.

ACTIVE MEMBER: A member who has management responsibility in one or more medical organizations. Active members are eligible to vote, serve on the board of directors, and chair committees. Annual dues are $125 (one year) or $225 (two years).

AFFILIATE MEMBER: An individual member who provides products or services to the healthcare industry, such as a vendor. Affiliate members do not vote or hold office, but may serve on committees. Annual dues are $225 (one year) or $405 (two years).

STUDENT MEMBERS: Membership is FREE for appropriate students who are approved. Students must be enrolled full-time (12 hours minimum) in a health service administration curriculum. Student members may not vote or hold office but may serve on committees. Student status documentation should accompany membership application. Student Members should e-mail admin@lmgma.org to apply for student membership.

HONORARY LIFE MEMBER: A long-standing member of MGMA-Louisiana may be selected by the Board of Directors for this honor. This member may not hold office or vote, and is exempt from paying dues.
