Medicaid Increase:

A few members have asked for clarification regarding HB1, which increases Medicaid reimbursement to 85% of Medicare rates. Below is from Kimberly Sullivan,  Medicaid ED at LDH.

HB1:

-             Reimbursement rates become effective at the start of FY26, which started July 1, 2025. The LDH is currently working on a bulletin to send out to providers. Although rates take effect on July 1, they must update their systems and are working on a timeline for this.

-             The increase in rates applies to all physician professional services.
